Following a report that alleged favoritism had occurred in municipal contracting in favor of a specific company, the actions taken showed that the aforementioned company maintained a stable and long-standing relationship with the municipality, so that it functioned as an extension of the municipal brigade. A communication was issued to the council indicating the irregularities detected and a reminder of the possible responsibilities in accordance with current legislation, although, given that no corrupt element was observed, the effective provision of services and the subsequent municipal action - which would have amended its action, in the sense that the company would have stopped providing any type of services in the municipal area -, the time elapsed and the principle of effectiveness, the case was closed.
