The subject of investigation was the agreement signed between the council and a sports entity from the municipality, and the possible irregularities that may have brought about favouritism towards the head of that sports entity. The agreement implicitly included the execution of works to which the rules of public procurement had not been applied and which had been carried out by the company belonging to the aforementioned head of the entity.
