Following a report about alleged irregularities in the contract tendered and awarded by the Tremp Town Council for the municipal information dissemination service via a radio frequency, an action has been initiated in which a possible preferential treatment and a possible irregular subcontracting of the service, not expressly provided for in the specifications, which would have benefited a local media outlet linked to the son of the mayor at the time, has been examined. From the examination carried out, it is clear that the tender and award file contained the necessary elements and that there are no objections from the competent municipal bodies regarding the procedure or the execution of the contract, although the file sent did not include invoices for the services provided. The existence of an agreement or declaration of intent between the awarded company and the aforementioned media outlet has also been proven, but its effective execution has not been verified; on the contrary, the parties consulted indicate that no subcontracting or assignment materialized. Likewise, the elements detected in a new tender do not allow, by themselves, to assess an infringement in matters of public procurement or incompatibilities. In accordance with the results obtained, the action has been filed.
