After more than fifteen years of activity, the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia has launched a broad process of strategic reflection to define its institutional future. The result is a document that includes a renewed vision, five strategic axes and instrumental proposals to strengthen its mission of transparency, prevention and the fight against corruption.
The strategic vision is based on a critical and constructive look at the path taken since the creation of the Office in 2008. In these more than fifteen years, the institution has evolved in a complex political and institutional context, assuming increasingly specialized functions in the prevention and investigation of corruption, as well as in the protection of whistleblowers. The consolidation of the Office as a benchmark in public integrity has been possible thanks to the collective effort of a cohesive and committed team, which has placed transparency and accountability at the center of the institutional agenda.
