The object of the present action is related to an alleged breach of the incompatibilities regulations by an official of the affected councils who, at the same time, would have carried out professional advisory tasks in these councils. The investigative actions confirm a continued transgression of the essential rules in the matter of incompatibilities, with which he would have profited in a prolonged manner over time, reaching a very high volume of income for the provision of private advisory services to the Catalan local administration, which could involve taking advantage of their public position. Despite this, the action ends with a filing resolution, taking into consideration the time that has passed, the age of the irregularities detected, the principles of proportionality and fairness and that the contractual anomalies in the matter of legal defense would have been amended by the corporation. In this sense, it must be considered that at the time the report was filed, the reported events were already very old. For this reason, the age of the facts described and the irregularities detected would lead to the possible administrative responsibilities being prescribed.
