Following a report, the Office initiated an investigation into irregularities in the declarations of interests and assets submitted by an elected member of the government team and for an alleged breach of the duty of abstention to which he was subject. Once the proceedings were completed, it was agreed to submit a reasoned report to the Sils Town Council, given that a flagrant breach of the duty of abstention was proven in the granting of several urban planning licenses to a certain business. However, the licenses granted are not considered null and void to the extent that they were unanimously approved by the members of the Local Government Board, with favorable reports from the technical services and control bodies.
