Following a report, the possible illegal use or destination of public funds reflected in the alleged irregularities associated with the payment of remuneration to elected officials has been examined. The detected irregularities are confirmed and the City Council is urged to initiate a procedure for the reinstatement of the amounts unduly paid. The municipal body is also urged to initiate separate review procedures: in relation to the salary supplements paid to elected members with absolute dedication and in relation to the collection of assistance to collegiate bodies.
