Private sector Engagement with the private sector is essential to good governance and is directed towards the pursuit of the common good. Private operators consider the efforts they make to safeguard integrity in their operations a true asset. Besides preventing corruption in the public sector, it facilitates fair competition in a framework of equality and guarantees consumers’ rights. Consequently we endeavour to promote good business practices, foster mechanisms of self-regulation such as CSR policies, ethical standards and transparency measures, and encourage awareness-raising activities and the training of the senior managers most exposed to corruption risks.
