As a result of another report, the alleged irregularities in the management of the Mollet Unió Esportiva football club have been analysed, resulting in an impact on the public treasury, given that this sports entity would receive significant grants from the council. The actions have focused on the possible impact on the transparency regulations that could have had the refusal to provide information to the members of the sports entity. With this dynamic, the principles of access to public information could have been contravened, so the municipal entity is urged to reverse this situation. This Office does not appreciate the existence of conducts likely to be the subject of investigation. Dysfunctions are detected in compliance with Law 19/2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, both on the part of the sports entity and the council itself, which are brought to their attention so that they can be reversed.
