After receiving a report, the alleged non-compliance with the regulations on conflicts of interest regarding the incorporation of an entity that would have received municipal subsidies, by an elected official of the council after abandoning his public responsibilities, has been examined. From the actions carried out, it has been possible to verify a breach by the elected office of the regulations regarding conflicts of interest, although of little scope and little impact on public resources, and on the date of incorporation of the charge against the aforementioned entity a specific sanctioning procedure had entered into force, as a result of the regulations deployed in the matter of transparency and good governance, which typifies this conduct as a serious infraction. It is considered relevant to urge the municipal council of the affected corporation, as a competent body, to assess the relevance of initiating a sanctioning procedure against this person, for breach of the applicable regulations on conflicts of interest.
