The scope of this directorate includes determining the reliability of the circumstance or behaviours that have been the subject of complaint. The result of this analysis will lead to initiation of an investigation or no further action being taken. Once the reliability phase is concluded, inquiries or inspections are made with regard to possible specific cases of irregular use or allocation of public funds. In addition, investigations are initiated into conduct which is contrary to probity or the principles of objectivity, efficiency and full submission to the law and people’s rights.
