A report was received stating that some of the people who made up the audience with His Holiness, Pope Francis, in Rome, did not maintain any links with the Provincial Council. With this, once all the actions have been completed and the reported facts have been corroborated, it would have been resolved to issue a reasoned report to the reported entity, in which it is urged, in the exercise of its functions of internal control and auditing of economic, financial and budgetary management, to investigate and inspect the facts that are revealed, and to inform this institution of the results of the inspection and investigation, as well as of the measures adopted, with the provision of the requested documentation -in particular with regard to the possible reimbursement of the amounts of the expenses originated by the attendance of the people in question at the audience with His Holiness, Pope Francis, and which the Girona Provincial Council would have assumed- and also, if applicable, the communication to the Court of Auditors, in accordance with article 41.1 of Organic Law 2/1982, of May 12.
