Alleged irregularities related to the granting of a service contract, the inappropriate use of a vehicle provided by the service concessionaire and the collection of irregular remuneration by an elected official are reported. In relation to the awarding of the provision of the service, it would appear that there would have been a continuous contravention of the public procurement rules for a long period of time. However, and in view of the age of the irregularities and the subsequent action of the council, it has been decided to archive this part of the action. In this same sense, the reported facts that referred to the possible irregular remuneration of the elected office were closed. On the other hand, it would have been proven that the concessionaire company gave a vehicle to the council for the specific purpose of monitoring the execution of the contract, despite the fact that it was not specified which municipal worker would use it, or in what context, schedule or specific schedule of execution control program. At this point it has been resolved to request from the council the certification of data relating to the person who has effectively used the vehicle made available by the concessionaire company, the conditions in which the vehicle has been used, in execution of which public responsibility Likewise, the council has been recommended to establish specific mechanisms to control the use of public assets or assets made available to the public entity.
