The object of this investigative action originates from a report filed for the alleged conflict of interest and violation of the incompatibilities regime that a municipal worker, holding a position of directive of the Figueres City Council, would have incurred by combining his public position with activities in the private sphere. The actions carried out have proven that there was no situation of incompatibility on the part of the directive subject to investigation. However, there are shortcomings in the corresponding declarations of activities and interests submitted by the aforementioned worker in the City Council's register of interests, although, given the time that has passed since the events occurred, and that, since 2019, the affected person is no longer a public worker, the Office has agreed to archive the action, without prejudice to reminding the Figueres City Council of the obligations of the directive staff of local entities regarding compliance with the incompatibilities regime and the presentation of the timely declaration of activities and assets.
