The actions of the Town Council were investigated following a report about irregularities in two road maintenance contracts. From the analyzed documentation, no objective signs of an irregular division of the contracts were found and it seems plausible to state that they were two contracts with independent benefits, but possible irregularities are detected in relation to the substantial modification of one of the contracts and also a cost overrun in the two contracts examined.
