Following a report, the purpose of this action was to analyze: (i) the facts related to sponsorship contracts signed by the Board of Trustees with two commercial companies and the possible favorable treatment that these companies could have had towards the staff of the Board of Trustees, and ( ii) the possible irregular payment due to double billing issued by a company. The first facts have not been finally substantiated and it has not been possible to prove even the slightest irregularity. Regarding the possible irregular payment due to double invoicing, it has been proven that the Girona Provincial Council has already issued a legal report on the matter, which concluded that it could not be claimed, since the statute of limitations had expired. However, analyzing the advertising and design contracts promoted by the Board, a series of deficiencies were observed, so that, although it was agreed to archive the actions, the entity was notified of the weaknesses and identified deficiencies and also recommendations that should be taken into account in the field of public procurement, so that they can be kept in mind for the future.
