Following a report, an investigation has been carried out into alleged arbitrary conduct in the award of the call for the provision of the post of Head of Urban Planning Service of the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès by free designation. Although it might seem that the City Council has not followed the procedure of the free designation provision system established in the regulatory framework for the provision of jobs, it can be noted that, from a material point of view, the decision of the competent bodies of the City Council to select the Head of Urban Planning Service was based strictly on criteria of professional trust and, ultimately, suitability to occupy the post. The Office has agreed to close the action because no fraudulent or corrupt acts or conduct that fall within its scope of action have been proven.
