The purpose of these actions has been to examine possible irregularities in the financing, through public funds, of the legal defense provided to staff with responsibilities in the council. The possible conflict of interest, even at a potential or apparent level, of a person in the exercise of the professional activity, in making compatible the task of legal advice for the local entity and the one of representation and defense of individuals in subjects in judicial controversy with the own Cercs Town Council has also been examined. These actions have ended with a resolution of filing, in the first case, when this Office has evidence of the realization of the corresponding public actions of return for the reimbursement of expenses of legal defense fees; and, in the second case, in the absence of evidence of any situation of conflict of interest, without prejudice to the fact that if the complainant had specific and verifiable evidence, he may request actions before the college of the advocacy.
