As a result of a report, the alleged favorable treatment by the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) to a company in certain tenders carried out by the Institute through a negotiated procedure without publicity has been examined. The alleged favorable treatment would have been articulated, on the one hand, through different fraudulent mechanisms (always inviting the same companies; non-submission of offers by certain invited companies; awarding to the only company that made an offer and often without any leave; use of criteria aimed at obtaining the desired result in the procedure, etc.) and, on the other hand, through other irregularities related to possible incompatibilities and/or conflicts of interest of people from the ICGC. The investigative actions carried out rule out the reported irregularities and the file is closed with a filing resolution.
