The purpose of the investigation is to determine whether there have been irregularities in the payment of allowances for assistance, that corresponded to some councilors in the 2016-2017 period, and whether these irregularities would have the purpose of harming certain councilors. In a comparison between the dates of effective payment of allowances for assistance earned by each councilor, according to the council's certification, no relevant differences are identified between the dates of admission according to the receiving persons and these differences do not seem to respond to their political affiliation. There are also no consideration delays in the subscription that lead to suspicion of possible specific cases of illegal use or destination of public funds, or any other irregular use resulting from conduct that involves a conflict of interest or the use for private benefit of information derived from the functions of the staff in the service of the public sector. However, there is a discrepancy between the attendance at the corporate meetings certified for the years 2016 and 2017 by the secretary of the Canyelles Town Council and those published at the corporation's transparency office. This discrepancy, despite the archiving of the proceedings, is considered pertinent to clarify it with the competent body, by sending a communication.
