As a result of a report, an action has been taken regarding the public service of drinking water supply, maintenance and wastewater treatment in the Aldea Town Council. After the corresponding actions have been taken, a possible preferential treatment has been identified for the company that has been providing the service since 1992 through irregular awards and modifications of the contract and that have perpetuated the company without respecting the general principles of public procurement. Likewise, it has been established that the Aldea Town Council has been warned by multiple instances of these irregularities without having reviewed the contractual framework, so that it has perpetuated an irregular situation, which is why a reasoned report has been sent in which said irregularities are indicated and the measures that the corporation must adopt in this regard are requested.
