The Anti-Fraud Office occupies an institutional space in the sphere of the European Union and in the international sphere, incorporating an advanced organisational model for reaching an eficient and viable level in the control and prevention of corruption.

Reporting to Parliament, the preventive role and the investigative and inspecting authority that are at the same time granted by law are the object of public attention for decision-makers and the administrations involved in achieving and improving public integrity. As a result of that interest, the Anti-Fraud Office of Catalonia has been invited to participate in various international forums at the highest level, where it collects and shares knowledge.
